Rose Strode is a writer, rehabilitator of overgrown gardens, teacher, and naturalist. Her poems and essays have been broadly published. Two of her most recent essays were named as “notables” in Best American Essays 2023 and 2024. More of her work is forthcoming in 2025 in The Ecopoetry Anthology: Volume II from Trinity University Press.

When not writing or helping others with their writing Rose wanders around in the woods with her binoculars, her sketchbook, and her dog. She is currently at work on her first book.
